Roussillon is a typical Provencal village perched at the top of a hill halfway between the Vaucluse mountains and the Luberon massif, famous for its vertiginous ocher cliffs in flamboyant colors. Walking in the alleys of the village is absolutely unique, in the middle of the alleys with facades colored with ochres of multiple colors, and its few pleasant shops to discover: delicatessen for gastronomy, art galleries, ocher stores or d crafts and local products, or its café or restaurant terraces. The ocher trail allows a surprising walk that young and old will remember for a long time! Warning: put on your shoes with shoes that you agree to color red / orange, and / or that tolerate cleaning with plenty of water.
Luberon Lub'heureux is located 4km from Roussillon and 4km from the village of Saint-Saturnin les Apt, in the plain of Sylla.
My favorite points of view:
- climb to the top of the village passing under the old bell tower, up to the orientation table.Panoramic view of the Luberon regional natural park up to Mont Ventoux
- take the direction of the ocher path and stop for a moment on the promontory on your left: view of the village whose profile stands out through the trees
- progress through the village beyond the art gallery rue de la porte happy: view of the ocher cliffs and the Luberon massif
